The HUD Area Office has reviewed and approved the suspension of the provisions, shown in Mr. tephen J. Havens letter of October 17, 1972. Commission approval was requested to enter into the Adden- dum Agreement with Royal Inns, which suspends the provi- sions. On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wade and unani- mous y carried, the President and Secretary were authorized to e ter into an Addendum Agreement to Contract for Sale of Land for Private Development with Royal Inns of America, Inc. Disposition Parcel No. 7 -1. 1. Resolution No. 432: Mr. Butler advised that RESOLUTION NO. 432 Reso ution No. 413, adopted on July 21, 1972 by Commis- ADOPTED, R -66 sion authorized the issuance of Redevelopment District Bond of 1972, in total amount of $3,800,000.00. Within that resolution, the Commission specified publication in two pewspapers for two consecutive weeks. The statutory requirement is one publication in two newspapers and we had intended to have one additional publication to the statutory requirement. The original date for awarding the bids was set for December 6th. We subsequently tear ed over billion dollars worth of bonds were on the market for that day. The recommendation was that we change our date to December 4, which we did. One publication re- appeared in newspapers. The request now is t amend the two publication requirement and provide for only one publication for the notice.
