Havens, Director, APPROVED FOR COUNTY - <br />advi ing approval of Certificate of Cost of Non -Cash CITY BUILDING, R -66 <br />Gran -in -Aid, for County -City Building, in amount of <br />$541 575.00, R -66. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />None. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />6. Bid opening for movinq of Business Systems, Inc., <br />Parcel No. 4-13, R -66: Three sealed bid proposals were <br />hand carried from Business Systems, Inc., Mr. J. L. Tucker, <br />President, for the upcoming move from the old Shidler Build- <br />ing at 110 North Michigan Street to their newly - constructed <br />warehouse facility at 115 North Niles Avenue, R -66. <br />Mr. laylor advised we must now have sealed bids on reloca- <br />tion moving expenses over $2,000. This is a new procedure <br />in c mpliance with Urban Renewal regulations. Mr. Taylor <br />open Ed the sealed bids, which were: <br />.ontractor Total Bid Price <br />I.S. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, <br />the moving of Business Systems, Inc. was awarded to <br />the low bidder, U.S. Van of Indiana, Inc., in the bid <br />amount of $5,562.00. Motion unanimously carried. <br />MOVING BID AWARDED TO: <br />U.S. VAN OF INDIANA, <br />INC., R -66 <br />E. Change Order No. 2 to Phase II -B, Part C: This CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 <br />Chan (e Order is with Rieth -Riley Construction Co., Inc., TO PHASE II -B, PART C, <br />for an increase in contract amount of $2,300.03, with APPROVED, R -66 <br />no a tension of time for completion, R -66. <br />The urpose of the Change Order is to repair structural <br />stee deficiencies in the existing bridge which were <br />expo ed when removing the existing bridge deck.
