NEW BUSINESS (Cont'd) <br />n. <br />Real Estate Research Corporation Contract: This <br />REAL ESTATE RESEARCH <br />is a c <br />ntract for land disposition services, by and between <br />CORPORATION CONTRACT <br />the De <br />artment of Redevelopment and Real Estate Research <br />APPROVED, R -66 <br />Corporation, <br />R -66. Real Estate Research would be responsi- <br />ble for <br />making the contacts necessary on a nationwide basis <br />to dis <br />ose of our land in the Downtown Renewal Project. We <br />previo <br />sly had entered into a contract with this firm to <br />update <br />the Land Utilization and Marketability Study. This <br />study <br />las now been completed and at this time we would like <br />to ent <br />r into a contract with Real Estate Research Corpora- <br />tion f <br />r land disposition services. This is a time and material <br />contract <br />not to exceed the maximum sum of $40,000 for all serv- <br />ices r <br />quired, basically for a period of twelve (12) months. <br />Their <br />Dbligation is to contact nationally -known firms and in- <br />terest <br />them in our project and to help us in any negotiations <br />with them. <br />On motion <br />by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney, authoriza- <br />tion tD <br />enter into a contract with Real Estate Research Corpo- <br />ration <br />was approved and the President and Secretary authorized <br />to execute <br />the contract, subject to Commission Legal Counsel <br />approval. <br />Motion unanimously carried. <br />o. <br />St. Paul's Church of God in Christ Building Plans: <br />ST. PAUL'S CHURCH <br />Commis <br />ion approval was requested for St. Paul's building <br />OF GOD IN CHRIST <br />plans <br />n their Parcel 28 -27 and 28 -28, located at Washing- <br />PLANS APPROVED <br />ton and <br />Illinois Streets, R -57. The lot dimensions are <br />116' x <br />120' -- the 116' frontage being on Washington Street <br />and 12D' <br />on Illinois. The building dimensions are 54' x 34' <br />and the <br />Church will be facing Washington Street -- 54' front- <br />age. <br />On motion <br />by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Chenney, the <br />plans, <br />as submitted, for St. Paul's Church of God in Christ <br />were approved, <br />and motion unanimously carried. <br />7. PROGRESS <br />REPORTS <br />a. <br />NAHRO Indiana Chapter Annual Meeting: This is a <br />NAHRO INDIANA CHAPTER <br />written <br />report submitted by Mr. Glenn Barbe for the meeting <br />ANNUAL MEETING <br />he attended <br />on June 28 through 30, 1972. A combined session <br />on 236 <br />Housing was chaired by Mr. Steven J. Havens, Director <br />of Operations <br />Division for HUD Area Office, with several <br />speakers <br />giving their ideas and experiences with the 236 <br />Housing <br />Bill and the 227 -D(3) limits in relation to their <br />positions. <br />Mr. <br />Off <br />Act - <br />cove <br />goria, Equal Employment Specialist of HUD Area <br />discussed the many phases of the Civil Rights <br />th new and old- -and the Fair Dousing Act which <br />nondiscrimination in Public Housing. <br />=0Z <br />
