4. <br />COMMUNICATIONS (Cont'd) <br />b. HUD telegram dated May 30, 1972: <br />over the signature of Mr. Steven J. Hans, <br />approves Federal Grant for S1 Relocation, <br />amount of $871,000.00. <br />This telegram, FEDERAL GRANT APPROVED <br />Area Director, FOR S1 RELOCATION, <br />Ind. R -66, in R -66 <br />Mr. Taylor advised this covers the amendatory filed, S1 <br />Relocation, which is for the difference in calculating <br />the relocation costs, for all relocatees in R -66, from <br />the former method to the higher payments covered by the <br />197D amended Relocation Act. This also anticipates all <br />future relocation costs on the difference of calculating <br />on the old method and the new amended Act. These are <br />retroactive payments mandated by new legislation on re- <br />location. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />None. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />wo <br />on <br />En <br />a <br />in <br />a. Change Order No. 10 to Phase I Contract: Access CHANGE ORDER NO. 10 <br />to be provided into the area north of Monroe Street, TO PHASE I CONTRACT <br />Columbia Street to the St. Joseph River, for people APPROVED, R -66 <br />ing in the area, residents, construction crews, fire <br />police vehicles, as well as our site office. In the <br />inal design, the access was off Jefferson Boulevard, <br />in working with the Police Department and the Traffic <br />neer, it was determined the Monroe Street location was <br />tter place for the ramps. These plans are a trade <br />esign. <br />Thi Change Order covers the above additions and deletions, <br />res lting in an increase in the contract amount of <br />$6, 04.48, with no change in time. <br />Mr. Wade moved for approval of Change Order No. 10 to <br />Phase I Contract, R -66, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, and <br />unanimously carried. <br />b. Demolition Contract No. 25: On May 5, 1972, DEMOLITION CONTRACT <br />fission authorized Demolition Contract No. 25 to be NO. 25 AWARDED TO <br />advertised for demolition bids, covering the follow- JULIUS O'NEAL TRUCKING <br />parcels: CO., R -66 <br />6 -1 Rubin Cleaners, 217 E.
