Mr. Muggy said <br />the Colfax Bridge will be out of service for about six <br />months, from the time Phase I will be completed and he <br />anticipated this to be in the vicinity of June. Colfax <br />and Jefferson cannot be closed off at the same time. <br />Prot cted concrete work is the only activity being <br />purs ed during the winter season on Phase I. <br />Mr. Wiggins further asked if the contractors would be <br />in,,-,,each other's way. Mr. Muggy said there should be no <br />conf ict. The retaining wall will be completed by March; <br />Phase II -B construction will not start until weather <br />perm ts-- possibly April. By this time, Howell Construc- <br />tion Company should be out. <br />Mr. fammerschmidt asked if the contractors will be in <br />conf ict on the bridge and St. Joseph Street? Mr. Muggy <br />advi ed the bridge contractor must put in the last piece <br />of tie retaining wall -- combination of retaining wall and <br />brid a abutment. Work on bridge is not in conflict with <br />Arco <br />Mr. Kagel said he has a human econometrics problem as <br />related to the downtown business community. He requested <br />a flow chart -- concerned about Easter, Mothers Day, etc.- - <br />to d scuss with the engineers,.
