Motion unanimously carried. 6. NEWIBUSINESS a. Change Order No. 7 to Contract 1, Phase I: Com- CHANGE ORDER NO. 7 mission authorization was requested for Change Order No. 7 TO CONTRACT 1, PHASE I, to Contract 1, Phase I, with Rieth -Riley Construction Co AUTHORIZED, R -66 Inc., for an increase in contract price of $7,623.93. Mr. Ash nfelter advised our engineer, Mr. Bill E. Slabaugh has approved the changes involved, and the combined traffic signal and street light standards were requested by the City Traffic Department and authorized by the Commission in meeting of October 4, 1971. On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney, Change Order No. 7 to Contract 1, Phase I, was approved for an increaSE in contract price of $7,623.93. Motion unani- mously carried. b. Demolition Contract No. 20: Authorization to advertise for Demolition Contract No. 20 was received in Commission Meeting of October 15,. 1971, and the advertise- ment appeared in The South Bend Tribune on October 20 & 27, 1971; and in the Tri- County News on October 22, 1971, with a id opening date of November 24, 1971, at 1:00 P.M., EST.
