U.S. Post Office Design and Site Plans: The Urban Design Review Committee met in this office on November 11, 1971, along with Mr. William C. Moe, of Chas. W. Cole & Son, Inc., to review the design and site plans f r the development of the U.S. Post Office. The Com ittee recommended the Commission accept the plans and site improvement drawings of the Post Office Building. The cost of construction is estimated at Five Million Dollars, plus. It was suggested that the Corps of Engineers now con- sidering the design should be encouraged to retain all land - scaping as shown in the design and site plan, with particu- lar"emp asis on that landscaping plan for both the east and west en s.
