Labs for Industry Futures and Transformation (LIFT) Network: <br />Driving Economic Prosperity in South Bend — Elkhart through Applied Learning and Research <br />Stalerntnt of J .Lk <br />Subrecipient: City of South Bend <br />Grant Period: April 1, 2019 — March 31, 2024 <br />Work to be performed: The City of South Bend will build out the Tech Resource Center (TRC) in South <br />Bend's Ignition Park. The TRC will hold a Data Engineering Boot Camp and Analytics Apprenticeship <br />Program to equip and reskill regional employees for IT -related fields. <br />Deliverables: Buildout of the TRC with $500,000 from the LIFT Lilly grant and additional secured funds. <br />The TRC has a grant goal of 20 individuals trained in applied analytics apprenticeships over the 5-year <br />grant period with the annual TRC goals of individuals trained listed below: <br />Year 1: 0 <br />Year 2. 4 <br />Year 3: 5 <br />Year 4: 5 <br />Year 5: 6 <br />These were the preliminary outputs/outcomes associated with the proposal. The TRC is committed to <br />supply mutually -agreed upon outputs in collaboration with the overall LIFT project management team <br />during the grant period. <br />11��rt ° et and Bead et Ju dfication <br />$500,000 in capital funds from the LIFT Lilly grant will be contributed toward the buildout of the Tech <br />Resource Center in South Bend's Ignition Park. <br />
