INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF ENGINEERING TO: Linda Martin, Clerk and Members of the Board of Public Works FROM: Therese Dorau SUBJECT: Recommendation for Selection of Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract Provider for South Bend Fire Department Solar PV Agreement DATE: 11 /05/2019 On behalf of the review committee I would like to recommend the provider for the South Bend Fire Department Solar PV Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract be Performance Services, Inc. After careful review of evaluations from the review committee based upon all submissions to the Request for Qualifications, Performance Services, Inc., was chosen by collaborative scoring by the review committee as per the RFQ. Performance Services, Inc., offers a strong portfolio of successful local government performance contracts in Indiana. Representatives of these projects give highly positive reviews for working with Performance Services, Inc., under a performance contracting model. I ask that the Board of Public Works approve Resolution No. 4818-19, which will ratify the recommendation of the review committee and authorize myself to negotiate an agreement to develop the energy savings project, which will come to the board for approval at a later date.
