ORDINANCE NO. g7J7 % <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1072-1078 LINCOLNWAY EAST, <br /> IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana: <br /> SECTION I. Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended, which ordinance is <br /> commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be <br /> and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the <br /> following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State <br /> of Indiana: <br /> A tract of land described as being a part of the Recorded Plat of Wenger and <br /> Krieghbaum's Vistula Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend, Recorded in Plat <br /> Book 6, on page 100 of the Recorder's Plat Books, St. Joseph County, Indiana, <br /> Portage Township, said tract being bound by a line running as follows, viz: <br /> Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot M in said Addition; thence <br /> Southeasterly along the Southerly right of way line of Lincolnway ( a 66 feet wide <br /> street ), a distance of 323.20 feet to the intersection of said street with the West <br /> right of way line of Miami Street; at a distance of 30 feet West of the North South <br /> Section line dividing Miami Street; thence South along the West right of way of <br /> Miami Street 87.60 feet; thence West 160.00 feet to the West line of Lots, P, Q, R, <br /> S, and T of said Addition; thence South 291.70 feet along said West lot lines to the <br /> Northerly line of Brook Street ( a 20 feet wide street ) in said Addition; thence <br /> Northwesterly 70.90 feet along said Northerly line of Brook Street to a point 20 feet <br /> Northeasterly of the face of the end of the concrete retaining wall supporting the <br /> embankment of the Conrail Railroad and being the Northerly line of said Railroad <br /> right of way at said face of wall; thence North 27 45' 00" West for a distance of <br /> 40.00 feet to a point 40 feet Northeasterly of the said Railroad right of way; thence <br /> North 46 15' 00" West a distance of 112.00 feet to a point 66.30 feet North of said <br /> Railroad right of way; thence South 66.30 feet to said Northerly right of way; <br /> thence North 54 45' 00" West for a distance of 300.38 feet to a point 6 feet <br /> Northeasterly of said right of way of Conrail Railroad; thence Southwesterly a <br /> distance of 6 feet to the said right of way line; at a point 20 feet Southeasterly from <br /> the center line of Bowman Creek; thence continuing Northwesterly 40.00 feet along <br /> said right of way to a point 20 feet Northwesterly of the Bowman Creek center; <br /> thence North-Northeasterly 19.00 feet; thence West-Northwesterly 40.00 feet; <br /> thence North 0 00' 00" East 142.04 feet to the Southerly right of way line of the <br /> Grand Trunk and Western Railroad; thence North 73 30' 00" East 334.00 feet <br /> along a chord subtended by an arc to the left 336.00 feet, having a radius of 919.02 <br /> feet, to a point on the Southeasterly line of a vacated 14 feet wide alley at a point 22 <br /> feet Southeasterly of the Northwesterly line of Lot M extended Southwesterly; <br /> thence Northwesterly 22.00 feet to said lot line; thence Northeasterly 165.00 feet <br /> along line of Lot M and Grand Trunk Western Railroad right of way to the point of <br /> beginning. <br /> be and the same is hereby established as "D" Light Industrial, "E" Height and area. <br />
