Bids opened and referred to Engineer for tabulation as follows: - Paving of Howard avenue from Ili chi6o,ii Avenue to La Porte . Avenue. Paving of Miami Street from Bowman Street to Fox Street. Asphalt Macadam pavement on Howard avenue from Van Buren Street to Michigan Avenue. Cement sidewalks on Michigan Street from Wayne Street to the Grand Trunkwestern- Ry. Co' s Cement sidewalks on Napier street from Wa1-.ut street to Cherry str.tiet. dace, Curb ire Walk on Fifth. Street fro,tt Linden avenue to Orange Street. Pipe Sewer in and along; College street from Linden avenue to Washington Street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 6o6, 607, 6o9, 612, 613, 616 & 620 respectively. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION No. 626. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Mend, Indiana: That an 1-i improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: A pipe sewer in and along Eddy street from Howard Street to St. Vincent street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE EDDY STREET PIPE SEWER IMPRO- VEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published -on the 13th day of October and on the 20th day of October 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times. This board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Ha11'On the 5th day of November 1909 at 10:00 A. ff. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds_ shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. Adopted this 12th day of Oct. 1909 . BOARD OF PUBLIC FORKS: Edwin Nicar, Act. Prest. Contract awarded to Wm. Downes for water connections on La Porte and Wilber Street. Howard Ave. from Michigan Ave. to La Porte Ave. Howard Ave. from Michigan Ave. to Van Buren Street. Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for pipe sewer on Linden Ave. from Johnson Street to Sixth street, under Improvement Resolution No. 593• Resolved , that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six con- secutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the 1.3 day of Ratober, 19092 stating that this -Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its Office in the City Hall on tie 26th day of October, 1909, at 10:00 A. X. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be -published on the 13 day of October, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Tines, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of Oct - Ober,, 1909, at 10-:00 A. M.
