Williams, <br />authori ation to advertise for bids for Demolition <br />Contract No. 7A & 7B was approved'and unanimously. <br />carried. <br />7. PRdGRESS REPORTS <br />a. Downtown Negotiations: Mr. Hubert M. Weaver DOWNTOWN NEGOTIATIONS, <br />Downtowr Negotiator, reported that 106 options have been R -66 <br />signed to date, at a total cost of $4,644,260.00; titles <br />acquirec to date are 82, at a total cost of $3,544,858.00. <br />b. Downtown Demolition: A discussion followed on DOWNTOWN DEMOLITION <br />explori g the demolition of the area at an earlier date <br />and getting it back on the tax roll if there is no need <br />for som of the structures, as it is more salable if <br />levelle off than in its present form. Mr. Miller was <br />requsted to submit a report on the temporary structures <br />needed to Mr. Ashenfelter for the next Commission meeting. <br />-7- <br />
