Williams and unanimously carried. i Adjustment of Rent: Myers Sewing Center, 417 S. ADJUSTMENT OF RENT, Michigan Street, Parcel 22- 10,:has requested that his rent IND. R -66 be red ced retroactive due to the fact that because of Urban Renewa activity all adjacent stores have been boarded up and his fi m has had a large decrease in business. Mr. Myers will b moving on or before November'10, 1970. It is im- possib e to make this request retroactive and it was recom- mended that rent be written off for the last month, which is " now dUE and up until his moving date. On motion by Mr. Wiggin seconded by Mr. Helmen, the recommendation was'ap- proved j. Approval of Five (5) Rehabilitation Grants: Approval - APPROVAL OF FIVE (5) was re uested for five 5 parcels in the R -57 Project for REHABILITATION GRANTS, Rehabilitation Grants contingent upon receipt of the Rehab- IND R -57 ilitat on Amendatory. Mr. Wiggins made a motion to approve Rehabilitation Grants for Parcels No. 9 -8, 33 -33, 23 -11, 10 =10 and 22 -47 subject to funding. Said motion was seconded by Rev Williams and unanimously carried. g. Resolution-No. 322: Resolution to adopt an Acquisi 'RESOLUTION NO. 322, tion P licy which incorporates State and Federal law and ACQUISITION POLICY basically sets out the same procedure that has always been, IND. R -66 follow d. This policy is necessary in connection with the use of Proclaimer's which go into effect November 1, 1970. It was noted that this procedure would save four to six months processing time.
