All members present. <br />Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Suter Connections <br />on Leland and Hudson avenues from 1st angle in Leland. avenue to Portage & Terrace <br />avenue; Notre Dame street and avenue From Jei'ferson street to City Limits; Webster <br />street from Sample street to C. I. & S. R. R. All under Improvement Resolutions <br />Nos. 599, 590 & 594 respectively. <br />No remonstrators appeared add no remonst.r-anees were Piled. The Board <br />therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed August 6th, 1909. <br />is benefittedin the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls,and the Board <br />further find that the assewsment rolls filed August 6th, 1909, and the final <br />estimate allowed August 6th, 10,09, should be and the same is hereby in all things <br />ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for the following improvements: <br />Paving ov LaPorte avenue from Oak street: to Michigan avenue; Tar or Asphalt - <br />Macadam pavement on Van•Buren-street from Portage avenue to Howard avenue; Grade, <br />Curb & Walk on Prai.r e •avenue frog-, Blanche street to the City Limits; Grade, Curb & <br />Walk on Ewing avenue fRom Michigan street to Lafayette street; Cement walk & Curbs <br />on Division street From Michigan street foc:the C.-I. & S. Ry. tracks. All <br />under Improvement Resolutions `dos. 599, 600, 601, 602, 603 respectively. <br />Engineer filed estimated cost as follows <br />LaPorte avenue Paving <br />Van Buren street Asphilt Macadam - - - - �G o�70 <br />, <br />Prairie avenue Grade, Curb & Wald}- - 7 7��oy <br />Ewing avenue Grade, Curb & Walk _ / 717 <br />Division street Cement curbing <br />City Enginaer instructed to amend the specification for the Division street <br />Improvement, under Imp. Res. No. 603, by eliminating the sidewalks entirely. <br />City Engineer instructed to amend the specifications for the Ewing avenue <br />Improvement, under Imp. Res. No. 602 by adding sidewalks and curbing on the <br />south side of said street. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find in each ant every case in said improvements than., the benefits <br />to the property mid to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of <br />said improvements and the sar_t are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved. <br />Resolved, that Uotices be published on the 26th day of August and on the 2nd <br />>l <br />day of September, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that thin Board will <br />receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10 A. M. on the 14th day <br />of September, 1909- The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. <br />'President. <br />
