4. <br />5. <br />President Wilhelm stated the next item on the agenda concerns the <br />motion made in the previous = Commission meeting of August 7th for the <br />purchase of two automobiles: "the lowest priced automobile to be <br />purchased from each of the bidders, with the trade -in applied to <br />Romy Hammes' bid." The trade -in price evidently applied only in the <br />event both cars were purchased from Romy Hammes. This, however, was <br />not stipulated in the bid prices. The Chair requested a motion to <br />rescind the above motion made in the August 7th Commission meeting. <br />Said motion was made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Rev. Williams, and <br />unanimously carried. <br />The Chair then req;uested'a motion for the purchase of the two�.auto- .. <br />mobiles.. Mr. Helmen moved that the two automobiles be,purchased <br />from Freeman Spicer Co., Inc., with a total del i�ereo. p,ri,e ,qf' f, %S 'F', <br />$4,172.35, which,`includes'a trade -in of the'1968 Ford'4 -Door Sedan, <br />Identification No. 8G51F215688, Model 51; Title No. X977224, pur- <br />chased May 14 1968. This was seconded by Rev. Williams and unani <br />mously carried. <br />ueslti ons and Answers: <br />Mrs. Guy P. Curtis requested that Mr. Barbe's salary be stipulated <br />for the Associate Director's position.
