His staff has had 90 refer- <br />rals since <br />January, 1970. Of this total, 28 have <br />been moved <br />to permanent housing; 3 to temporary <br />downtown <br />housing; 35 moved on their own to other <br />housing; <br />3 pending as they refuse our assistance <br />and r <br />fuse to leave their present homes - -or a <br />total <br />of 69 -- leaving a workload of 21.. He, stated <br />this <br />9 is not necessarily involved in our urban <br />renew <br />1, but City -wide. <br />3fX <br />"k <br />X10 <br />Mr. H lmen asked Rev. Kirk how much time he <br />spend on City--;wide-relocation in comparison <br />to urban renewal? Rev. Kirk stated he spends <br />appro imately 1/3 of his time-on City -wide relo- <br />cation; his staff full time. <br />Rev. Kirk stated he would like to encourage the <br />Press to help make an appeal for donations of fur- <br />niture to the needy families in City -Wide <br />Relocation. Staff and means of transporting <br />are a ai 1 able. <br />e Relocation, Indiana R -66: Rev. Kirk <br />advised the family workload to date is 15; seven <br />of these have been removed from the workload, <br />with 2 estimated to come on the workload. <br />Relocati on, ' Indi ana.
