29 <br />The Board met in regular session at 10:00 A. It. All riembers present. <br />Engineer reported "Grade" In alley East of Enerick street. Same approved. <br />Hearing on Condemnation Resolution No. 52 for the opening of Franklin street. Rem- <br />onstrance sustained and the preliminary resolution is hereby rescinded. <br />Contractor Bond of John Baer filed and approved. <br />Board of Public Works: - <br />Herewith proposition as submitted by Ind.. & Mich. Elect. Co. <br />A. J. H. <br />South Bend, Ind., May 212 ' 09. <br />A. J. 'Hapimond, <br />City Engineer, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />Dear Sir: - <br />Confirming my verbal proposition, I beg to advise that we will install and furnish <br />forty incandescent lamps along the drive in Leeper Park; the saute to burn approximately four <br />thousand hours per yec,r, for Twenty ($20.00) Dollars per lamp per year; we to maintain and ke <br />up the service without any other expense to you. It is understood that this love price is made <br />in consideration of the ease with which these lamps may be located, and in consideration of <br />the forty lamps are placed approximately one hundred feet apart. <br />Yours truly, <br />F.
