All members present. <br />Are light ordered at.corner of Franklin and Calvert streets and on St.- Joseph <br />street and alley Soutli of Jefferson street. <br />Engineer instructed to prepare specifications for the repairing of the City <br />Hall roof ---Bids to be received up to 10:00 A. M. on Friday April 30th.9 1909. <br />Improvement Resolution No. 549 for Trunk Seger on Meade,,Huron and Olive <br />streets was recinded. <br />New Resolution adopted. Hearing May llth.,- 1909 at 7:15 P. M. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 591. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indian, That <br />an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows:. Trunk <br />Sewer in and along from the Kenwood Ave. Trunk Sewer, beginning at Linden ave, and Meade <br />St. thence South on Meade Street to Huron street; thence East on Huron street to Olive; <br />street; thence South on Olive street to CalverTstreet. <br />Said sewer to be a Trunk Sewer for the dnainage of all the real estate included <br />within the following boundaries to -wit: <br />Commencing at the intersection of Meade street and Linden Avenue, thence West <br />along the North line of lot 17 in Kaley's Addition to the Northeast corner, thence South <br />to the East & West alley, thence West along the North line of said alley, and. said alley <br />produced West to t=ie North line of L. S,& M. S. R. R. right of way, thence Northwesterly <br />along said right of way to the present City Limits, thence South to the intersection of <br />Dundee street with the North line of Ewing Ave., thence East along the North line of <br />Ewing Ave. to a point where the East line of the alley between Jackson street and Lincoln <br />street produced South intersects Ewing Ave., thencei"North on said line to intersect a <br />line 150 feet North of Prairie Ave., thence Northeasterly parallel to and 150 feet North <br />of the North line of Prairie Ave. to the West line of Webster street produced south, the- <br />nce North to the intersection of the West line of Webster street and the first alley North <br />of Sample street, thence West to the West line of the first alley East of Union street <br />thence North to the first alley South of Ford street, thence West to the East line of the <br />first alley West of Harris street, thence North to the North line of the first alley <br />South of Division street, thence West to Olive street, thence North on Olive street to the <br />North line of the L. S. & M. S. R. R. right of way, thence northwesterly along said right <br />of way to intersect the first alley West of Olive street, thence North to the North line 4` <br />of East and West alley South of Linden Ave., thence $ast to the West line of Lot l Kaley's <br />Add., thence North to the Northwest corner of Lot 5=Kaleyts Add., thence West along <br />South line of alley to the rthwest corner of lot Kaley's Add., thence South to South <br />Line of linden Ave., thence *st to the intersection of Meade street and Linden avenue. <br />All of the,'&foresaic = real estate included within said boundaries shall be uubject to <br />assessments therefor. <br />Said improvement shall be known and designated a5 the MEADE? HURON AND OLIVE <br />STREET TRUNK SEWER and shall"be constructed according to the plans and specifications.pre-- <br />pared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this <br />�esolution shall be pub-- <br />lished on the 19th day of April and on the 26 day-og_April 1909,in the South Bend Daily <br />Times. This board will give a hearing on this resolution. at its office in the City Hall <br />on the llth day of May 1909 at 7:15 P. M. <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in `payment for such work where <br />the property owner signs waiver required? as according to law.
