Friday April 2nd., 1909. <br />The Board met in regular-- session; at 10 00 A = -M*- All members present. <br />Contract signed with Studebaker Bros. Mfg. Co. for the refilling of sweeper~. <br />brooms.Por-the year of 1909. Contract price $240.00 <br />Hearing on Vacation Resolution #54 vacating streets, alley and lots in Kal"ey's <br />2nd. Sub -division was deferred until April 9th., 1909 at 10:00 A. M. <br />Petition filed for an Are lamp at Cor. of Colfax ,Avenue-- and St. Louis St. <br />Urdered installed. <br />Deferred hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 49 for the <br />opening of Franklin St. from Wayne St. to Jefferson St. , appropreating the following <br />described property. <br />Begin 9 1f4 feet east of a point where the east line -of Franklin Place produced <br />south intersects the south line of the alley south of Jefferson Street., thence south <br />199 feet to Wayne Street, thence west 71.74 feet, thence north 199 feet to alley, thence <br />east 71.74 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Also Begin at a point where the east line of Franklin Place produced south inter- <br />sects the south line of Jefferson Street, thence south 199 feet to alley, thence west 66 <br />feet, thence north 199 feet to Jefferson Street, thence east 66 feet to the place of beg - <br />Inning <br />Remonstrance filed Larch 30th., 1909 by Robert Harris" et al was over ruled. In <br />_the above matter no further remonstrators appeared and no furthhr remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore declared the above described property in all things condemned and <br />appropriated for public use. <br />Engineer instructed to prepare roll showing awards of damages and assessment of <br />benefits in the above matter. <br />Deferred hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 50 for the opening of William St. <br />from Colfax Ave. to Michigan Ave. appropriating the following described property.___.__ <br />All of lot 12 in Chapins Sub -Division of Bank Out Lots 1 &2. <br />All of lot 13 in Chapins Sub -Division of Bank Out Lots 1 & 2. <br />150 ft off north end lot 3 Wm. Millers Sub -Division of Bank Out Lots S 41 9 <br />49 feet off South end lot 3 wm. Millers Sub -Division of Bank Out Lots 8 & 9. <br />All except 100 feet off East side and except 5 feetooff west side Bank Out Lot 1# <br />In the above matter no further remonstrators appeared and no further remonstran- <br />ces were filed.
