Parnell . Mr. Parnell had purchased this property in 1871 . He sold the half of his property which this house is located to Norman Loomis in 1882. James S. Parnell was a lineal descendant of the Irish Patrint Parnell and was a prominent farmer in New Carlisle. He later became township trustee.
