The Warner' s sold the property <br /> in 1889 to John C. Darst. The Darst family occupied the residence until 1893 when it was sold <br /> to William H. Deacon. Mr. Deacon served as Town Clerk and Township Trustee, as well as being an <br /> insurance agent. The Deacon family sold the residence in 1918 to Emanuel Bartmess.
