The Warner' s sold the property in 1889 to John C. Darst. The Darst family occupied the residence until 1893 when it was sold to William H. Deacon. Mr. Deacon served as Town Clerk and Township Trustee, as well as being an insurance agent. The Deacon family sold the residence in 1918 to Emanuel Bartmess.
