It is 2 stories high with an irregular plan. crossine sable roofs with the front gable projecting over corners cut at 450 angle. It is constructed of brick with a stone foundation and stone belt courses, a large bay window projects from the west wall of the hous-e. The orivinal pnrrh has been reolaced by a small bracketed canopy above the front door. The residence was sold in 1928 to Guy R. Smith. The Smith' s sold the aroaerty in 1929 to Anna Hews Roberts. Miss Roberts sold the home in 1929 to Ruth & Clarence Crouch. Mrs. Crouch sold the propertv to Fred h Geneva Dettler in 1952.
