6. <br />EW BUSINESS (Cont' <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wilhelm, <br />Resolution No. 281 was unanimously approved. <br />e. Option Agreement: Approval and acceptance <br />was requested of one 1 Option Agreement, for Parcel <br />No. 12 -7, in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal Project, <br />R-57. President Wiggins entertained a motion for <br />approval and to authorize the President to sign the <br />option. Motion was made by Rev. Williams, seconded <br />by Mr. Wilhelm, and unanimously approved. <br />f. Change Order No. 2, to Woodruff & Sons Inc. <br />Contract No. Approval was requested for a change <br />order to cover the cost of demolition for Parcel Nos. <br />22-12 and 45 -4, in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal <br />Project, R -57. One property was originally considered <br />for rehabilitation and proposed for use as a site <br />office; the other was omitted from the original con- <br />tract. The cost for demolition is $500 each, which <br />compares to the unit price in the contract for homes <br />demolished of smaller size. On motion by Mr. Helmen, <br />seco ded by Mr. Chenney, Change Order No. 2.was ap- <br />prov d and unanimously carried. <br />1. Contractor Change: The property owner had <br />sela ted-9-a-t east Construction Company, as their <br />cont actor for rehabilitation work, involving Parcel. <br />No. 9 -1. The property owner is now requesting a <br />cont actor change and wants to select Builders United <br />Ente prise. Batteast Construction Company is agree- <br />able to the change. Mr. Hamnerschmidt apprised the <br />cont act will have Batteast Construction Company re- <br />main as the builder and Builders United Enterprise <br />will be the subcontractor, reporting to Batteast <br />Cons ruction Company, and Mr. Robert Batteast will <br />be r sponsible for the completed work. Authorization <br />is r quested for Commission approval of a subcontrac- <br />tor, and on motion by Mr..Wilhelm,'seconded by'Mr., <br />Chenney, Builders United,Enterprise was authorized <br />for he subcontractor. Mr. Chenney stated if the <br />property owners want a change, he is in favor of <br />it. Motion was unanimously passed. <br />Negotiator's Contract: Approval was re- <br />ques ed for the selected negotiator's contract, Mr. <br />Hube t M. Weaver & Associates, subject to final <br />lega approval. President Wiggins asked if the <br />cont act needs to be approved by HUD. - Mr.. Barbe <br />appr sed the manual specifies if we accept HUD's <br />stan and form, without changes, we do.not need HUD <br />appr val.
