6. EW BUSINESS (Cont' On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wilhelm, Resolution No. 281 was unanimously approved. e. Option Agreement: Approval and acceptance was requested of one 1 Option Agreement, for Parcel No. 12 -7, in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal Project, R-57. President Wiggins entertained a motion for approval and to authorize the President to sign the option. Motion was made by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wilhelm, and unanimously approved. f. Change Order No. 2, to Woodruff & Sons Inc. Contract No. Approval was requested for a change order to cover the cost of demolition for Parcel Nos. 22-12 and 45 -4, in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal Project, R -57. One property was originally considered for rehabilitation and proposed for use as a site office; the other was omitted from the original con- tract. The cost for demolition is $500 each, which compares to the unit price in the contract for homes demolished of smaller size. On motion by Mr. Helmen, seco ded by Mr. Chenney, Change Order No. 2.was ap- prov d and unanimously carried. 1. Contractor Change: The property owner had sela ted-9-a-t east Construction Company, as their cont actor for rehabilitation work, involving Parcel. No. 9 -1. The property owner is now requesting a cont actor change and wants to select Builders United Ente prise. Batteast Construction Company is agree- able to the change. Mr. Hamnerschmidt apprised the cont act will have Batteast Construction Company re- main as the builder and Builders United Enterprise will be the subcontractor, reporting to Batteast Cons ruction Company, and Mr. Robert Batteast will be r sponsible for the completed work. Authorization is r quested for Commission approval of a subcontrac- tor, and on motion by Mr..Wilhelm,'seconded by'Mr., Chenney, Builders United,Enterprise was authorized for he subcontractor. Mr. Chenney stated if the property owners want a change, he is in favor of it. Motion was unanimously passed. Negotiator's Contract: Approval was re- ques ed for the selected negotiator's contract, Mr. Hube t M. Weaver & Associates, subject to final lega approval. President Wiggins asked if the cont act needs to be approved by HUD. - Mr.. Barbe appr sed the manual specifies if we accept HUD's stan and form, without changes, we do.not need HUD appr val.
