Chenney, Secretary of the City of South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City <br />of South Bend; Department-of Redevelopment, hereby certify <br />that on the 9th day of October; 1969j-1 served.a true copy-, <br />of the-foregoing-Notice of Special Meeting on each and <br />every Commissioner of the South Bend Redevelopment Com- <br />mission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Depart- <br />ment of Redevelopment, in the following manner: by tele- <br />phone and by mail. <br />(SEAL) <br />3. resident Wiggins introduced RESOLUTION NO. 275, a resolution <br />authorizing the filing of HUD -6144, "Request for Concurrence in <br />cquisition Prices," Indiana R -66. <br />Mr. Bruce C. Hammerschmidt, Legal Counsel, apprised Resolution <br />Jo. 275 is'for the. concurrence in acquisition prices of 88 parcels <br />f real estate, which the staff feels are fair and reasonable and <br />l e the result of three separate appraisals for each of the 88 <br />rcels, in the Central Downtown Urban Renewal Project, Indiana <br />-66. He stated he concurs with the staff and recommends the <br />(omission authorize the submission of the concurred- in.values <br />to the Chicago Regional Office of the Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development for their approval. <br />resident Wiggins asked if the acquisition prices are within the <br />cceptable spread previously maintained.
