KIN <br />Friday October 16th, 1908, <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. McInerny absent. <br />Remonstrance filed by Henry J. Elbel et. al. against the proposed brick <br />pavement on Allen street from Michigan.avenue to Portage avenue. Referred to Engineer. <br />Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Brick Pavement on <br />Alley west of Franklin street from Jefferson street to Division street, Grading on <br />Division street from Frances street to Notre Dame street, under Improvement <br />Resolution No. 555 & 562 respectively. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore <br />find that the property assessed in said rolls filed September 23rd, 1908, is <br />benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further <br />find that the assessment roll filed Septe,-lber 23rd, 1909, and the final estimates. <br />all6wed September 23rd, .19W, should be and the same are hereby in all things <br />ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for Brick Pavement on the lst alley <br />North of Division street from Lafayette street to Franklin street; Brick Pavement <br />on the 1st alley north of Sample street from Main street to 1st alley west of <br />Michigan street, Grading on Terrace avenue from Portage avenue to St. Joe River; <br />Grading onLel4nd avenue from Hudson avenue to Terrace avenue, all under Improvement <br />Resolutions Nos. 573, 5742 575 & 576 respectively. <br />Ehg veer filed estimated cost as follows: <br />lst alleyNorth of Division street Brick Pavement...... <br />lst alley North of Sample street Brick Pavement <br />Terrace avenue Grading ............l,�1/f <br />Leland avenue grading Grading ............. .57z'-_ <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find in each and every case in -said improvements that the <br />benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated <br />cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed <br />and approved. <br />Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the <br />17th day of October and on the 24th day of October, 1905, to the effect that this <br />Board will receive bids for said improvements up to 10 a. m. on the loth day of <br />November, 1905. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. <br />Acting President. <br />
