eG�e) Wednesday August 26th, 1908. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papezynski absent.. Petition filed by G. N. Whiteman for the grading of the 1st alley north of the Grand Trunk Western R. R. Cols. Right of Way. Referred to City Engineer for Specifications Notice was orderer; serve`s by the Police Department on the Michigan Central Railroad Company to remove the switches from the roadway on N. Fherick street near the old Singer plant. Railroad Company given 60 days time in which to move said switches. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 570. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Grade, Curb & Walk on Bowman street from.Michigan street to Main street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE BOWMAN STREET GRADE CURB & WALK IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to theplans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 27th day of August and on the 3rd day of September, 1908, in the South Bend Daily Times, This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 15th day of September, 1908, at 10 A. M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the'Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as accoRding to law. Which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of sic per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. Adopted this 26th day of August, 1908. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 571. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Grading of thelst alley north of the Grand Trunk Western Railway CompanY's Right of Way from St. Joseph street to Carroll street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ALLEY NORTH OF THE G. T. R: R. CO'S. RIGHT OF WAY GRADING IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer filed herewith. Notice of this reosolution shall be published on the 27th day of August and on the 3rd day of September, 1908, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 15th day of September, 1908, at 10 A. M.
