t The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. Hearing on Vacation Resolution No. 52, for the vacation of Angle street was deferred until May 12th, 1909, at 10 A. M. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 550. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Asphalt Pavement on West Washington street From Michiigan street to the west line of Walnut street Said improvement mall be known and designated as "THE WEST WASHINGTON STREET ASPHLAT PAVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, Piled herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published' on the 8th day of May and on the 15th day of May, 19052 in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of May 1909, at 7:15 P. M. A Bond'or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. 'Which said Bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. Adopted this 8th day of May, 1909. BOARD OF PUDIC WORKS. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 551. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana:.That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and ten-tinal points as follows: Grading of St. Peter street from Cedar street to Sorin street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ,ST. PETER STREET GRADING IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed accordig to the plans and ppecifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 8th day of May and on the 15th day of May 19091 in .the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of May, 1909, at 7:15 P. M. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ALLEY.SOUTH OF JEFFERSON STREET BRICK PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 8th day of May and on the 15th day of May 190F 1 in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of May, 190S, at 7:15 P. M.
