Tuesday April 14th, 1909. <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. McInerny absent. <br />Contractor Bonds of Chas. L. Headley and Elias G. Metz were filed and approved. <br />Petition filed by H. Hardman et. al. for an elec t,ric light at the corner of Michigan <br />avenue and College street. <br />Engineer reported Grade on Alley west of Lafayette street from Wayne street to <br />Division street. Same was approved. <br />Opening of the bids for the Hot Air heating for No. 10 Hose House was deferred <br />»ntil Friday April 17th, 1905, at 10 A. M. <br />IIvMROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 547. <br />Be it Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: <br />Pipe Sewer on Olive street from Kenwood avenue to Michigan avenue. Said improvement <br />shall be known and designated as "THE OLIVE STREET PIPE SEVER IMPROVEIMENT" and shall be <br />constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer <br />filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 15th day of <br />April and on the 22nd day of April 190E, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will <br />Five a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 5th day of May <br />1905, at 7:15 P. M. <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the <br />property owner signs waiver, required as according to law. Which said bonds shall <br />bear interest at the reate of six per cent per a :nu, payable as provided by law. <br />Adopted this 14th dyy of April, 1909. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />ACTING PRESIDENT. <br />
