LaSalle Park Rehabilitation =Pro ert Mr: LASALLE;PARK URBAN <br />Bellin er apprised the,Commission of the proposal RENEWAL PROJECT, <br />and po si- bi'lity'of selling certain substandard 'R -57 <br />dwelli gs i -n the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal ;Pro- <br />ject 9 o the Greater South'Bend'Housing Corporation, <br />who will rehabilitate these homes under the non- <br />profit 221(h) program, and, in turn, 'Sell the'rehabi- <br />litated properties to low- income families, with 3% <br />financing. He stated the Greater South Be "nd Housing <br />Corporation has certain .latitudes and funds -to under- <br />take these kinds of programs <The sale of these <br />properties to the Greater•South Bend Housing Corpo <br />ration would have to be through public offering. <br />Mr. Bellinger stated further inVestigation- must be <br />undertaken -in order to assure the success of this <br />undettaking.
