52 <br />Wednesdav December <br />The Board met in'regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />The Board having under consideration the matter of awards and damages under <br />Condemnation Resolution No. 36, for the opening of Woodward avenue & Elwood avenue: <br />A Roll of awards and dssessments was made up by the Board, showing awards of damages <br />and assessment of benefits in said matter, which said roll to be known as "THE <br />OPENING OF WOODWARD AVENUE & ELWOOD RVENUE ASSESSME9T ROLL". <br />It is ordered that a hearing on said awards and assessments be given at the <br />office of the Board on the 31st day of December 1907, at 10 A.M. and that proper <br />legal notice of such hearing be served by the Chief_ of Police, according to law, <br />on the property owners affected by such roll. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 51. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That <br />it is desirable to vacate the following: <br />-Ail of the 14 foot alley lying west of lots 11, 12, 139 149 15, 16, 17, 19 <br />19 & 20 in Perley Lumber Company Addition. Also '7 foot alley.lying North of lot 20 <br />in PerlqV Lumber Company Addition. <br />The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially effected <br />by such vacation: <br />All of Lots 11, 12, 132 141, 15, 169 172 19. Perley Lumber Co. Add. Joseph Schmidt. <br />All of Lots 19 & 20 Do. Harvey S. Cover. <br />- Begin 179 feet west of a point 9.05 chains south of the north line of S.WW <br />1 4 of section 13. T. 37. N. R. 2 E. and 50 feet west of the center line of.Michigan <br />1� street; thence south 3.37 1/4 chains; thence west to the Vandalia railroad; thence <br />s N. 3.37.1/4 chains; thence east -to place of beginning. <br />Judson B.
