Tuesday December loth, 1907. <br />SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY DECEMBER LOTH, 1907, AT 7:15 P. M. <br />The Board met in Special Session at 7:15 P. M. All members present. <br />Remonstrance filed against the amount of certain assessments on East Washington <br />street & Artesian avenue Brick Pavement. <br />Remonstrance filed against the Adams street Cement Curb Improvement. OVER -RULED. <br />Hearing on Assessment Roll and final estimate for Brick Pavement on East Washington <br />:-treet & Artesian avenue and for Grade, Curb & Walk on Bertrand street from Olive <br />street to the alley west of Anthony street, under Improvement resolutions Nos..436 & <br />497 respectively, was deferred until Friday December"13th, 1907, at 10 A.M. <br />A Hearing was had on the final estimate of the Grade, Curb & Walk on King street <br />from Portage avenue to laine avenue, Kendall street from Indiana avenue to Alley North <br />of Leon C6urt and Maple street from Washington street to Division street, under <br />Improvement resolutions Nos. 425, 445 &,447 respectively. A number of interested <br />property owners were present in person and others represented by Attorneys and remon- <br />strated against the acceptance of said work on account of alleged defects, consisting <br />of cracks in the surface of the work. and that the grouting in the walks and cuRb was soft <br />and disentegrating. In as much as the.work is partially covered with snow and the ground <br />is frozen up in such a way ds to prevent a proper inspection of the work at this time, <br />it is determined by the Board that this hearing be continued until the 2nd Tuesday in <br />April 1908, at 7:15 P. All.under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 442, 443, 455. 459, 460, 461, 462, 4632 <br />464, 465, 466, 667, 46E, 4692 476, 499, 498, 499, 5002 5012 5031, 5042 505 & 506 re-sp. <br />In the alcove matter no further remonstrators appeared and no further remonstrances <br />T,,ere filed. All other remonstrances were over -ruled. The Board therefore find that the <br />property assessed in said rolls filed November 19th,1907, h--bbnefitted in the amount <br />of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls <br />filed November 19th 1907, and the final estimates allowed November 19th, 1907, should <br />be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Q � <br />Pres dent.. <br />
