Kirk, the-newly- appointed <br />TEMPORARY <br />Relocation <br />Director,-stated that Mrs. Vivian Bond has <br />RELOCATION, <br />been working <br />successfully -in temporarily relocating <br />LASALLE PARK <br />the Greater <br />Friendship Baptist Church from the LaSalle <br />URBAN RENEWAL <br />Urban Re <br />ewal Project. This church has a new building <br />PROJECT, R =`57 <br />under co <br />struction, but ran-into some unexpected delays <br />in its c )mpletion. <br />The subject church is positioned on <br />the <br />site pur <br />hased by the Greater South Bend Housing Corp- <br />oration For <br />the construction of rent supplement housing, <br />and, therefore, <br />must be removed. This church will <br />temporarily <br />be housed in a vacant church located , <br />in the Industrial <br />Expansion Project. It is anticipated <br />that the <br />church -will-need the temporary location for a <br />period of <br />a month or two, and, at that time, the new <br />church should <br />be completed. <br />7. NEXT <br />MEETING <br />The next <br />regular meeting of the Redevelopment <br />NEXT MEETING <br />Commission <br />will be at 10:30 A ° -M., Thursday, January,'_ <br />16, 1969, <br />in the office of the Redevelopment Depart- <br />ment. <br />8.
