d. <br />Authorization for Staff to Attend a Training <br />TRAINING SESSION <br />Session <br />offered at Southern Illinois University, Edwards- <br />Illinois: The HUD Office has recognized this as <br />meaningful program. The courses are for Code In- <br />SOUTHERN ILLINOIF <br />UNIVERSITY <br />vil <br />a very <br />spectors <br />and will meet with three classes: January 5 -11; <br />January <br />19 -25; and.February 16 -22. These classes will be <br />held at <br />the Stratford Hotel, in Alton, Illinois. The <br />cost for <br />this training session is $250.00 per inspector, <br />which <br />includes tuition, meals, etc., plus actual trans- <br />portation <br />costs. Mr. Bellinger said that this should be <br />an es <br />ecially -well presented workshop session, with the <br />thrust <br />on Code Enforcement Program. President Wiggins <br />asked <br />if this was the primary thrust of this particular <br />training <br />session and Mr. Bellinger said it was. Mr. <br />Helmer <br />stated we should urge our inspectors to attend. <br />Authorization <br />was given for attendance for two inspectors, <br />and tc <br />be scheduled so as not to interfere with progress <br />of work, <br />on motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Rev.
