Brown. 01rector <br />January 27,2015 <br />I recently conducted a compliance survey at your jiisi-,itution, I appreciated the professionalism, courtesy and <br />assistance you and your staff extended to me) your Program Director with the Indiana State Approving Agency, <br />This lottitr will discuss the'pwrpose of a compliance survey, what I review during a survey and my findings, <br />What T,-; The PurposejLf A SurvgX? <br />A compliance survey is periodically conducted for the following two reasons: <br />(1) To ensure that.Departmeja of Veterans Affairs (PVA) payments to veterans and eligible dependents <br />enrolled in the training programs are based upon proper and correct em-olfinent information <br />furnisbed by the school <br />(2) Assist school officials and students in understanding the requirements of the law jr, order to prevent <br />deficiencies or violations that could develop because of misunderstandings or misinterpretations of <br />the law, <br />What Do T'Review Dori A Sure � '! <br />1y <br />Tbe information and data reviewed durfilg the survey includes, but is not limited to, curriculum <br />requirements, prior credit evaluations,, written agreements bet pTeen the, student and the facility, copies of the <br />application and enrollinent celt-floations, and copies of the progress reports, Th, wage scales and work <br />k <br />processes are alsoxeyiewed. Advertising materials are teviewrd to ensure no erroneous, misleading, or <br />deceptive information is conveyed to the students. <br />One discrepancy, or reporting error, was found in the record-% reviewed for this survey, The discrepancy is as <br />follows: <br />There were zero discrepancies found in the -records reviewed during the compliance survey, <br />
