<br />Project, . Indi na R -29, has been banked by the Redevelopment Department
<br />In a matter o days, we expect the check from the Housing Authority,
<br />for Parcel No 1.
<br />c. Relocation Adjustments, Chapin Street R -29. A check in -the, RELOCATION
<br />amount of $74,000 has been received by the Redevelopment Department ADJUSTMENT PAY-
<br />from the federal government to be used for relocation adjustment
<br />payments in connection with the Chapin Street Project, R -29. Those
<br />relocatees who are eligible will be granted up to $500, all federal
<br />money. The Relocation Director will advertise in the South Bend
<br />Tribune, as a way of notification. In submitting application for
<br />these funds, the Redevelopment Department staff figured the maximum
<br />federal amount available, to be assured that enough money for this
<br />purpose will;: eet any required need.
<br />d. Industrial Expansion Project, R -56. The staff has submitted INDUSTRIAL EXPAN-
<br />the Part I Loan and Grant Application to the Chicago office for approval. SION PROJECT, R -56
<br />If this project meets with the approval of the Chicago office, other
<br />requirements are a public hearing, approval by the Common Council, and
<br />Area Plan Commission. Upon the establishment of a fair market value,
<br />any redevelope who submits a plan for redevelopment may negotiate
<br />for the land.
<br />e. Centra Core Pro ect Indiana R -66. The Planning Contract
<br />will be submit ed to the Chicago office for review. The market
<br />analyst has be Itudy n selected to prepare the Land Utilization and
<br />Marketability and the Transient Housing Study, both studies to
