Mr. Kompa$ nominated Mr. Wiggins for President, seconded by Rev. Kirk, and a <br />unanimouslballot was cast. <br />Mr. Wiggins nominated Mr. Kompar for Vice President, seconded by Mr. Chenney, and <br />a unanimous ballot was cast. <br />Mr. HelmelL was nominated for Secretary but he declined because of other activities. <br />Rev. Kirk nominated Mr. Chenney for Secretary, seconded by Mr. Helmen, and a <br />unanimous ballot was cast. <br />Mr. Helmer nominated Rev. Kirk for Assistant Secretary, seconded by Mr. Chenney, <br />and a una imous ballot was cast. <br />Mr. Wiggi s assumed chairmanship of the meeting. <br />III. <br />After a brief discussion on the proper time to amend the�by laws, Mr. Hammerschmidt <br />confirmed that this organizational meeting is the correct time. :Therefore, an <br />opinion poll was taken on the question, "Should the regular - Commission meetings <br />be held at 10 :30 A. M., or 3:00 P. M., on the first and third Thursdays of each <br />month ?" The Commission then approved the motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by <br />Mr. Kompar, that the by laws be amended and that regular meetings will be held <br />at 3:00 P. M. on the first and third Thursdays of each month. <br />IV. APPOINTMENT OF`STAFF I <br />The Chairman entertained a motion for appointment of Redevelopment Department Staff <br />and setting of the salary schedule. On motion by Mr.- Kompar, seconded by Mr. Chenney, <br />the Commission unanimously appointed the following staff for the year 1967• <br />-2- <br />.
