The Commission instructed the staff to proceed with preparation of the contract in final draft. 5. NEW BUSINESS a. Following urban renewal procedure, the Commission voted to RESOLUTION 154 approve Resolution 154 which provides for the execution of Contract. for CENTRAL CORE, Planning Advance, for the Central Core Project, Indiana R -66. This R-66 Resolution accepts the $274,358 offer of the federal advance for planning Project R -66. The Commission approved the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Koczan. b. In accordance with the Redevelopment Commission Management LOWERING OF Property Pol'cy in existence for the LaSalle Park Project, the Commission RENT FOR unanimously approved lowering the rent from $23.00 to $16.00 per month WILLIAM BEY for Mr. William Bey, 3221 Washington Street, upon the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr..Koczan. Mr. Bey lives entirely on Old Age Assistance, and at age 95, with a very limited income, this special consideration was granted by the Commission. c. The Arthur D. Little Company, Cambridge, Massachusetts, is DEMONSTRATION sponsoring a Demonstration Cities program on December 12 and 13, 1966. CITIES PROGRAM The Mayor,and the Executive Director were originally invited. The Mayor could not attend and suggested the Executive Director try to attend. The Commission approved Mr. Chong's attendance at this meeting, with expenses pai , upon the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Koczan. :xz
