The maximum amount for the contract is <br />TION, LASALLE <br />$2,500, with <br />compensation figured at $6.50 per hour per person, portal <br />PARK, R -57 <br />to portal, tc <br />be paid the contractor. The Commission instructed the <br />staff to proceed <br />with preparation of the contract in final draft. <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Following <br />urban renewal procedure, the Commission voted to <br />RESOLUTION 154 <br />approve Resolution <br />154 which provides for the execution of Contract. for <br />CENTRAL CORE, <br />Planning Advance, <br />for the Central Core Project, Indiana R -66. This <br />R-66 <br />Resolution accepts <br />the $274,358 offer of the federal advance for planning <br />Project R -66. <br />The Commission approved the motion by Mr. Kompar, <br />seconded by Mr. <br />Koczan. <br />b. In accordance <br />with the Redevelopment Commission Management <br />LOWERING OF <br />Property Pol'cy <br />in existence for the LaSalle Park Project, the Commission <br />RENT FOR <br />unanimously approved <br />lowering the rent from $23.00 to $16.00 per month <br />WILLIAM BEY <br />for Mr. William Bey, 3221 Washington Street, upon the motion by <br />Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr..Koczan. Mr. Bey lives entirely on Old Age <br />Assistance, and at age 95, with a very limited income, this special <br />consideration was granted by the Commission. <br />c. The Arthur D. Little Company, Cambridge, Massachusetts, is DEMONSTRATION <br />sponsoring a Demonstration Cities program on December 12 and 13, 1966. CITIES PROGRAM <br />The Mayor,and the Executive Director were originally invited. The Mayor <br />could not attend and suggested the Executive Director try to attend. <br />The Commission approved Mr. Chong's attendance at this meeting, with <br />expenses pai , upon the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Koczan. <br />:xz <br />
