The second and third LASALLE PARK <br />appraisers have now been engaged and they will be working R -57 <br />simultaneously. The properties will be inspected together <br />by the two appraisers, but evaluation will be determined <br />separately. Priority lists have been established for <br />acquisition and it appears that the area between Falcon <br />Street and Dundee Street will be given early priority, with t <br />the no theast corner also considered for high acquisition <br />priority. After appraisals are completed, the Commissioners <br />will review and approve the prices and seek Chicago DHUD <br />concurrence before acquisition can take place. We must <br />also secure a total of three reuse appraisals with prices <br />approv d by the Commission and concurred in by the Chicago <br />DHUD b fore any sale of project land. <br />d. Personnel Policies. The Commission and the Staff PERSONNEL <br />have discussed a set of personnel policies for the Department POLICIES <br />of Redevelopment and these policies were adopted by the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />MEETING OPENED TO DISCUSSION <br />The question was raised as to when the site improvements in SITE IMPROVEMENTS <br />the Chapin Street Project, R -29, would be started. Mr. Chong R -29 <br />felt that probably within the next few months the site <br />improv meats could begin, and construction time is estimated <br />at six months. <br />Mrs. Curtis inquired about the 221 -(d)3 housing for the La- LASALLE PARK <br />Salle Park Project, R -57. Laymen LaSalle Park Homes, Inc., R -57 <br />is the only applicant thus far for building this type of <br />housing.
