In <br />obtaining the goal for final approval of the La- <br />R -57, APPROVAL OF <br />Salle Park Project, <br />R -579, the next step is to receive Common <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Council approval <br />of.the Urban Renewal Plan, based on the approval <br />NOTICE SUBJECT TO <br />of the Area <br />Plan Commission. Action is planned to be <br />COMMON COUNCIL <br />at the next <br />Common Council meeting to be held Monday, January <br />APPROVAL <br />24, 1966. <br />Immediately after Common Council approval the <br />Public Hearing <br />will be advertised for the anticipated date of <br />February 14 <br />1966. The Commission approved the motion of <br />Mr. Kompar, <br />seconded by Mr. Helmen, which authorizes the <br />advertising <br />of the public hearing notice, subject to favorable <br />action by the <br />Common Council. <br />7. <br />a. Central Core Project; R -39. The Survey and Planning CENTRAL CORE R -39 <br />is in the Federal Office, and it is hoped that approval will be <br />given in February. <br />b. Workable Program. The Workable Program is also being WORKABLE PROGRAM <br />reviewed in the Federal Office and appears to be in order. <br />c. The Subcommittee on Minority Group Housing Problems of SUBCOMMITTEE OF <br />the Mayor's Citizens Advisory Committee met in the office of MAYOR'S ADVISORY <br />the Redevel pment Department on the evening of January li, COMMITTEE MET <br />1966.
