All members present. <br />In, the matter of Pavement on College Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 219,the <br />Board up -held their award of April 22nd.1913 which was awarded with Wabash Clay Block <br />laid on a gravel foundation to Hoban & Roach. The Board find that the petition sub- <br />mitted by the Trinidad Lake Asphalt Company failed to contain the names of the majority <br />of Resident - property holders. <br />r Petition was filed with. the Board and read asking for a, gas light at Ninth Street and <br />Pleasant Street. The same was referred to the Street Commissioners for investigation,. <br />Partial estimate allowed H.N. Barnes for grade, curb and walk on Marquette Avenue, <br />under Improvement Resolution: No. 165. for #ah.e amount of ....................... $599.00 <br />,,-Communication received from John A. Hibberd relative to the vacation, of the 14-foot <br />alley between Lots 50,51.52 and 53 in. Kauffman Place Addition and the Chieago,In.diana; and <br />Southern Railway Co. -right-of-way. The same was placed on file. <br />Communication was received from the Inter -State Construction Company,relative to work on. <br />Bowman. Creek sewer. The same was placed on files. <br />#- Bond and contract for Pavement on College Street from Washington Ave. to Michigan Ave. <br />Under Improvement Resolution No. 219. signed by Hoban & Roach as. Prinicipal and American <br />Surety Company of New York as Sureties, was approved by the Board. <br />Bond and contract for pavement on Kemble Avenue from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue, <br />under improvement Resolution No. 226. signed by Harry N. Barnes as prinicipal and T.C. <br />Barnes and George N. Whiteman as sureties, was approved by the Board. <br />Bond and contract for grade, curb and walk on Johnson Street from" Vassar Avenue to <br />North line Mayrts Mich. Avenue Add. under Improvement Resolution No. 224. signed by <br />H.N. Barnes as prinlepal and T.C.Barn.es and George N. Whiteman as sureties, was approved <br />by t he Board. <br />'T.* Board ordered to notify the Chicago, South Bend & Northern. Indiana Ry. Company to make <br />all connections on the north and east side of Vistula Avenue on and along the territory <br />where the curb has been extended preparatory to laying the Brick Pavement, <br />J <br />President. <br />
