The ba.me to*be considered on May 3rd. 1913 at 10:00 A.M. <br />Bond anal contract for grade, curb and walk on Olive Street from Ellwood Avenue to Keller <br />Strut, Under improvement Resolution No. 225• was signed by Joseph Szweds- as prinicipal <br />and Fidelity' & Deposit Company of Maryland, as surety, , wa,s approved by the Board. <br />✓:Contractors bond for One Thousand ($11000.00)Dollars signed by Frank G.. Stanley as prin— <br />cipal and Guy Staples and dater Hildebrand as sureties, was approved by the Board. <br />,Contractors bond for One Thousand ($1,000.00)Dollars signed by Joseph Zeiger as prini— <br />cipal and Henry C. No. 170 In the City of South Bend,, Indiana, <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were <br />filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed <br />February the 21st.4913 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said <br />rolls, and th=- Board further find that the assessment roll Piled February 21st.,1913 <br />and the final estimate alldwed Pebrruary 21st.,1913 should be and the same are hereby in <br />all things ratified, ® nfirmed and approved. <br />Partial estimate allowed Harry N. Barnes for Grade, curb and walk on Wakewa Avenue, <br />from Lafayette Street to Iroquois Avenue, under Improvement, Resolution No. 164, for <br />the amount of...........................•..................................503.52 <br />/ Resolution transferring Board of <br />Public Works' authority over St. <br />Louis Street unto the Board of Park <br />_ Commissioners; Rill control over said <br />Street for boulevard purposes. <br />_- Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, that it is deemed and desired necessary that St. Louis Street, from fast <br />Jefferson Boulevard to its intersection with the South line of East Madison Street <br />in the City of South Bend, Indiana, be under the control and supervision, of the Board <br />of Park Commissioners or said City, and converted by said Board into a pleasure driveway <br />and boulevard and made a part ofthe boulevard system of said City; <br />And Be It Further Resolved that the Board of Public Works donow <br />hereby transfer to said Board of `Park Commissioners full authority, control and super— <br />vision over said street and renounce in favor of said Board of Park Commissioners, all is <br />its power over and to said street for the purposes herein above set out. <br />OTTO C.
