All members present., Bids were ,received and opened on GradP and walk on ,Huribn ,Street ,under Improvement Resolution No. 196. and the same were referred to the Cit-y Engineer for tabulation. k Deferred hearing given on Brick Avenue from LaPorte Avenue to Michigan Avenue,under improvement Resolution. No. 209,in the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstranees were filed. The Board therefore rind in each and every. case in said improvement that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend, are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements rnd the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.' Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times for, the receiving of proposals for the foregoing work according to law on or after the approval by the Board of bids or proposals for a Lateral sewer on Euclid Avenue as now petitioned for. Hearing given on the roll of awards of damages and assessments of benefits in the matter of appropriating a strip of land for the extension of Keasey Street from the ?Test line of Lot 9 Hutchins Addition to -the vest line of Carroll Street, under Condemnation Resolution No. 17. In the City of South Bend, Indiena.Adopted on the 9th. day of July 1912. In the above matter remonstrators -:;appeared -ire person, but no remonstrances vrere filed. The Board after due consideration findthat the properties in said roll are benefited and damaged respectively as shown on said roll and hearby'in all things ratified, confirmed and approved, and all action taken under Condem ration Resolution No. 17 is hereby concluded. i/Petitioneras asked the Board to assume the amount which the cemetery was assessed for the ease*aunt on Bowman. Creek Trunk sewer. The Board after due consideration concluded to reject the prayer,,of the petitioners. y/Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Brick pavement on Madison Street from East Race to Eddy Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 131.In the City ;of South Bend,Indiana. Resolved, that notices as to the aiaount s of assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bead Daily Tines, commencing on the 20ti. day of January 1913,stating that this Board will give €i hearing on the amount of such assessment at its office in the City Hall on the 14th. day of February 1913 at 7:45 P.M. Resolved further that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on -the 20th. day of January 1 13 in the South Bend Daily Times, st ati ng that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 14th. day of February 1913, at 7:45 P.M.
