Letter dated October 19, 1965 from Rieth -Riley con- <br />struction Company, Inc., asking for additional payment of $500 <br />for demolishing two residential buildings which were delivered <br />for demolition seven (7) days after last scheduled release <br />date. With the motion by Mr. Louis, seconded by Mr. Kompar, <br />the Commis ion voted to direct this correspondence to Bruce <br />Hammerschmidt and Mr. Chong for review and recommendation, and <br />decision tq be made at next regular meeting. <br />b. Letter dated October 20,-1965 from North Central <br />Appraisal Company submitting a proposal to undertake the first <br />acquisitior. appraisals for Industrial Expansion Project, Indiana <br />R -56. Eacl residential parcel to be appraised for $50.00, <br />vacant lotE for $20.00, and nonresidential parcels at $200. <br />Second and third appraisals will be obtained later to comply <br />with India a laws. The Commission approved the motion made by <br />Mr. Koczan and seconded by Mr. Louis, that we accept this <br />proposal with authorization given to the President to execute <br />a contract <br />5. BID PROPOSALS FOR REAL ESTATE R -7 <br />a. Mr. Hammerschmidt directed the Commissioners' attention <br />to the Cummins Engine parcel in the Sample Street area. Cummins <br />Engine desires to sell this parcel to South Bend Lathe, Division <br />of Amsteds Incorporated. Therefore, upon the motion of <br />Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the Commission adopted <br />Resolution 113 which approves'the assignment of Cummins Engine <br />Company, Inc., of Columbus, Indiana, to the South Bend Lathe, <br />Division of Amsted Industries, Inc., and authorizes the <br />President and Secretary of the Commission to finalize the sale. <br />b. Mr. Hammerschmidt introduced a request of HHFA to <br />delete Section 802 of Contract for Disposition of Land, Part II, <br />with Hanson Engineering, which provides for equal opportunity of <br />employment. Therefore, upon the motion of Mr. Louis, seconded <br />by Mr. Koc an, the Commission approved a Supplemental Agreement <br />dated October 21, 1965, prepared by Mr. Hammerschmidt, effecting <br />this deletion. <br />6.
