Letter dated October 19, 1965 from Rieth -Riley con- struction Company, Inc., asking for additional payment of $500 for demolishing two residential buildings which were delivered for demolition seven (7) days after last scheduled release date. With the motion by Mr. Louis, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the Commis ion voted to direct this correspondence to Bruce Hammerschmidt and Mr. Chong for review and recommendation, and decision tq be made at next regular meeting. b. Letter dated October 20,-1965 from North Central Appraisal Company submitting a proposal to undertake the first acquisitior. appraisals for Industrial Expansion Project, Indiana R -56. Eacl residential parcel to be appraised for $50.00, vacant lotE for $20.00, and nonresidential parcels at $200. Second and third appraisals will be obtained later to comply with India a laws. The Commission approved the motion made by Mr. Koczan and seconded by Mr. Louis, that we accept this proposal with authorization given to the President to execute a contract 5. BID PROPOSALS FOR REAL ESTATE R -7 a. Mr. Hammerschmidt directed the Commissioners' attention to the Cummins Engine parcel in the Sample Street area. Cummins Engine desires to sell this parcel to South Bend Lathe, Division of Amsteds Incorporated. Therefore, upon the motion of Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the Commission adopted Resolution 113 which approves'the assignment of Cummins Engine Company, Inc., of Columbus, Indiana, to the South Bend Lathe, Division of Amsted Industries, Inc., and authorizes the President and Secretary of the Commission to finalize the sale. b. Mr. Hammerschmidt introduced a request of HHFA to delete Section 802 of Contract for Disposition of Land, Part II, with Hanson Engineering, which provides for equal opportunity of employment. Therefore, upon the motion of Mr. Louis, seconded by Mr. Koc an, the Commission approved a Supplemental Agreement dated October 21, 1965, prepared by Mr. Hammerschmidt, effecting this deletion. 6. OLD a. Up n the motion by Mr. Kompar, and seconded by Mr. Koczan, the Commis ion approved the Certificate of Completion authorizing the Presid nt and the Secretary to refund $10,000 to Clemans -3- $ 1,337.45 1,559.30 3,133.94 $ 6,971.32 R -29.
