Board met in regular hearing at 7:45 P.M. All members present. P"�Hea,ring given on Vacation Resolution No. 19 for the purpose of vacating the follow- ing deseribed property to -wit;- PART OF KALORAMA STREET FROM ALLEY WEST OF HILL -STREET TO TURNOCK STREET. In the above mstter the Board deferred all action - unti`1 Friday November Sth. 1912 at -7:45 P.M. ,✓Declaratory hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 2.06 for Grading mand Paving Elwood Avenue from -Portage Avenue to Wilbur Street. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstxances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvemdnt that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend, are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the- same are .hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 14th. day of October lgl2 and on the L21st. day of October 1912 to the effect that this Board will receive bids for said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. on the lst. day of November 1912, . the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Declaratory hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 207 for Pipe- Sewer, on St. Louis Street from Madison Street to Cedar St rest , u In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rollsfiled September 20th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed September 20th. 1912 and the final est_imat:e: �allewed -September 20th. 1912 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. -Hearing given on assessment roll and final estimate for Pipe Sewer on St. Louis Street from.Cedar Street to miner Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 171. In the above matter no remonst rat ors* appeared and no rer+onst races were. filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rollsfiled. } September 20th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of asseswients as shown on said rolls and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed September 20th. 1912 and the final estimate allowed September 20th. 1912 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Hearing given on Assessment roll and final estimate for Pavement on lat. alley South of L.S.& M.S. R. R. from Chapin Street to Scott St reet , under Improvement Resolution No. 124. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board there fore find that the property assessed in said roll filed September 20th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Beard further find that the assessment roll filed September 20th.1912 and the final estimate allowed September 20th. 1912 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. ✓Hearing given on Assessment roll acid final estimate for Grade, curb and U161k on West side of Lafayette Street from North Shore Drive to Parkovash Avenue, under Improvement Resolution. No. 162. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the pivperty assessed in said roll filed Septembe 20th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as showm on said rdlls,and the Board further find that the assessment• rolls filed September 20th.- 1912 and the filaal estimate allowed September 20th. 1912 should be and tine same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
