As part of the study for the area
we need additional information on properties
in the housing block bounded by William,
Western, Taylor and Wayne. Wightman
Petrie has submitted a proposal in the amount
of $10,095. The scope of services is to
establish current property lines, parcel
ownership and extents and locations of built
structures in the block area. Staff requests
approval of anot-to-exceed amount of
$10,500.
Mr. King asked if the intent is to replat the
entire area into one big parcel. Mr. Schalliol
responded that when the ballpark was built,
the property was never replatted. So there
are nearly two hundred lots in the block. We
would have it replatted to parcels that are
more uniform and a manageable size.
Mr. King made a motion to approve the
request for proposal for professional services
in the South Bend Central Development Area
and accepted the proposal of Wightman
Petrie for an amount not to exceed $10,500.
Mr. Blake seconded the motion.
