Richardson Jr. <br />Senior Research Scientist <br />Planetary Science Institute <br />536 River Avenue <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br /> <br />September 25, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Marcy and Dale, <br />I am writing to request permission to make the below small additions to your property at 536 <br />River Ave, South Bend, Indiana, involving the addition of a small storage shed and two lengths <br />of chain-linked fence to the backyard, which will abut existing fences in order to enclose the <br />backyard area, as described below:: <br />(1) Installation of 10' x 8' US Leisure Keter Stronghold Resin Storage Shed on the existing <br />garage pad, and abutting the next-door neighbor’s storage shed. <br />(2) Installation of ~38 feet of 4' high chain linked fence, with a 3' gate, to run NE-SW from <br />the back (NE) property line to the North corner of the house, bordering the existing <br />driveway pad. A gate will be placed near the house back door, opening to the driveway. <br />(3) Installation of ~15 feet of 4' high chain linked fence, to run NW-SE from the West corner <br />of neighbor's wooden backyard fence to the SE side of the house. <br />I will pay fully for this addition, and will submit the applicable paperwork regarding this addition <br />for you to the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County.
