L-� Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Bastian absent. The city Engineer submitted the list of property owners i-n the matter of the appropria- tion of certain property under condemnation Resolution No. 15, which list includes the names of the owners and holders of property and of interests therein sought to be taken or beneficially or injuriously effected, and the description of the several pieces of property which is affected by the said appropriation proceedings. Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained and �o assess the benefits accruing to each piece of property upon said list. *,It was thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted, resolved that said list, together with the amounts of benefits and damages and net benefits and net damages therein set forth as to the several parcels of land be adppted and ordered spread upon this record by reference, and that'the respective amount of benefits contained in said list be and are hereby assessed against the sev- eral tracts of land as specifically set forth in`said list, and that the respective amount of damages contained in the said list be and are hereby awarded to the several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list, and that the net benefits or net dam- ages- as the case may be as to the respective tracts of land contained in said list are hereby awarded -or assessed, as the case .may be as to"the said several tracts of lands. The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages each against the other where both henefits and damages, are assessed against the same piece of pro- perty, tract of land or interest, and hereby fixes said respective net benefits as the amount that shall be paid by the 'respective owners as benefits, and further hereby fixes the respective net damages as to the "several tracts as the amount that shall be paid to the owners' of the respective tracts as damages. Trer*uAen, upon motion duly made and *seconded and unanimously adopted, the`: 6t.h. dxycmfA'ugu:;t 'wds fixed as the day on which this Board will receive or hear remonstrances from persons with regard t o the amount of their re spe ct ive awards or assess - rents,, and the clerk of this Board was instructed to prepare and cause to be duly and legally given, notices to the owners of each parcel of property, showing the amount of the assessment or award, with a description of the property affected, and the date of said hearing. PROPERTY TAKEN. Begin on the west line of Eddy Street at a point 66 feet south of the south line of Division Street, thence northwesterly following the southerly line of the Grand Trunk Western Railway Companies right-of-way line to the east line of Parry Street; thence north 20.9 feet to a point 20 feet northerly from the southerly line of said companies right -of --way; thence south easterly parallel with and 20 feet northerly f rok the southerly -line of said companies right-of-way to the west 1i �e of Eddt Street; thence south 20rg feet to the place of beginning. ALSO: Begin on the west line of Parry Street and the south line of Division Street thence west along the'south line of Division Street to the southerly line of the Grand Trunk Western Railway Companies right-of-way; thence southeasterly following the southerly line of said Companies 'right-of-way to the west line of Parry Street; thence north along the west line of Parry Street 15.42 feet to the place `of beginning.
