<br />d. The Commission approved Resolution 174, which authorizes
<br />the staff to submit a revision of the Survey and Planning Appli-
<br />cation for the Central Core Project, R -66, to incorporate boundary,
<br />changes upon the motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Chenney.
<br />This re ision is subject to Common Council approval before sub-
<br />mission to the federal office in Chicago.
<br />e. Resolution 175 received Commission approval, upon the
<br />motion ty Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Helmen. Said Resolution
<br />authorizes the staff to take steps to acquire the following
<br />parcels by condemnation, located in the LaSalle Park Project,
<br />R -57: 3 -13, 38 -10, 38 -11, 39 -15, 39 -16, and 42 -10. The initial
<br />step taken by the staff will be to send certified letters to the
<br />owners indicating procedures followed according to law.
<br />f. The Commission adopted Resolution 176 to dedicate the
<br />streets and: - alleys of the Chapin Street Project, R -29, to the
<br />City of South Bend; upon the motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by
<br />Mr. Chenney.
<br />g Certificate of Completion was approved for execution
<br />upon the motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Chenney. This
<br />Certificate indicates that Robert Binder d /b /a Indiana Safety
<br />Company, Parcel 1 M of the Sample Street Project, R -7, has
<br />fulfilled the contractural agreement and thereby the Redevelopment
<br />Department is-to return the deposit held in escrow.
<br />h. he Commission approved the following rent adjustments
<br />for parc is as follows, in the LaSalle Park Project, R -57, upon
<br />the moti n by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Chenney. Moved from
<br />Parcel 1 -1 to 9 -13 and rent adjusted to $35.00; moved from
<br />Parcel 1 -2 to 46 -15 and rent adjusted to $35.00; moved from
<br />Parcel 15-2 to 30 -12 and rent adjusted to $31.00; moved from
<br />Parcel 15-1 to 8 -7 and rent adjusted to $35.00; the family
<br />formerly living at Parcel 8 -7, now relocated outside the project
<br />area, has the back rent adjusted from $63.00 to $42.00. The
<br />followin tenants remain in the same parcel numbers but rent is to
<br />be lower d in accordance with the above motion: Parcel 40.10 from
<br />$65.00 t $45.00; Parcel 29 -13, Case No. 82, from $50.00 to $35.00.

<br />from the Project Expenditures Account, LaSalle Park Project, R -57,'
<br />$200,000 will be invested for two months.
