516 ✓- RELEASE 0 F BOND WHERE, JOSEPH E. ROBERT,MARTIN HOBAN, and MARTIN J. ROACH, as Principals, an'4 the American Surety Company of New York, as surety, chid on the 2M day of F _ - ,1903, execute and deliver to the City of South Bend, Indiana, a certain; bond in the penal sum of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty ($2780.001 ollars, by the terms whereof said principals and said Surety guaranteed to said City the main— tenance and repair of a brick pavement on East Col fax' Avenue from Sycamore St rb. Street to Eddy Street-, which said Brick pavement was constructed by the said Joseph E. Robert, Martin Hoban and Martin J. Roach under a certain improvement Resolution of the City of South Bend, In.di'ana, known as No. 46, for a period of to ten years from the 15th. day of July A.D. 1902. And, whereas, said to year peri bd of maintenance and repair .has expired. NOW, THEREFORE, We, the undersigned, the Board of Public W6rks of the City- Of South Bend, acting for and on behalf of said City under authority duly conferred by law do hereby release and dicharge said Joseph E. Robert, Martin Hoban and Martin J. Roach, as principals, add the American Surety Company of New York, as Surety, from an# and all liability on said bond so executed and deliveredt to the City of South Bend on said February 20th. 1903, guaranteeing the main— tenancenand repair of said Brick pavement on East Colfax Avenue from Sycamore Street to Eddy Street.
