499 CONDEMNAT?ON RESOLUTION NO. 17. RESOLVED ,by the. Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, That the following described property be appropriated for the extention-of Keasey Street from the West line of lot 9 in Hutchins Addition to the west line of Carroll Street as follows to -wit: - Beginning on the South line of said Keasey Street and the west line of lot 9 in Hutchins Add. $thence East in line with the South line of said Keasey Street to the West line of Carroll Street; thence North -along the West line of said Carroll St.to the South line of the alley along the North side of said lot 9; thence west along the North line o,f -.said lot 9 to the west line of said lot 9; thence south to the place of beginning. . T.he property which may be injuriously or beneficially affected in the City of South Bend, Indiana by the opening and extention of said Keasey Street as above described is , known as the ground herein proposed to be condemned and appropriated therefor, end also all the lots and lands and parcels of lots lying within the following described territory in the City .of South Bend, Indiana,to-wit:- Beginning at the intersection of the first alley East df Michigan Street and the first alley north of Elder Street; thence East along the first alley north of said Elder Street to the first west of Carroll Street thence south along the alley west of said Carroll Street to Elder Street; thence east a ong said Elder Street to -Carroll Street; thence south along said Carroll Street to the first; alley south of Keasey Street; thence east along said -alley to Kirby Street; thence North along said Kirby Street to the first alley North of Keasey Street; thence west along the said Alley to Carrell Street; thence north along said Carroll Street to a point 113 ft. north of Keasey Street ; thence west parallel with and 113 ft. north of the north line of - said Keasey Street to the- first alley east of Michigan Street; thence ' south along said alley to the place of beginning. All as shown by a plat of said territory now in file in the Office of the Department of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana. The purpose of such appropriation is op-ening and oxtention of Keasey Streett to Carroll Street. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the yyZ_O_ay of July and on the ay of July 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times.. This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the jth. "day of August 1912, at 7:45 P. M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or af- fected by these proceedings. Adopted this 9th. day of July, 1912. VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 19. RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That it is deemed and desired necessary to vacate part of Keasey Street from Carroll Street to the first alley west of said Carroll Streets in t Le City of South Ben d, Indi ana as follows to -wit: - Begin on the west line of Carroll Street and t e south line of lot 10 in Hutchins Add. thence West along the south line of said lot 10 to the We -et line of said lot 10 thence south 26 ft. to the North line of lot 20; thence East along the North line of said lot 20 to the West. line of Carroll Street; thence North along the west line of said Carroll Street 26 ft. to the place of beginning.
